I am a Research Scientist (Special Faculty) at Carnegie Mellon University. My lab studies how children's knowledge emerges from their experiences, and the downstream effects of this knowledge on other cognitive abilities.
I am also the Director of Research at the CMU Children's (Laboratory) School. My research is currently supported by the Spencer Foundation. In the past, I have been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood.
