I am a Research Scientist (Special Faculty) at Carnegie Mellon University where I study how children's knowledge emerges from their experiences, and the downstream effects of this knowledge on other cognitive abilities.
I am also the incoming Director of Research at the CMU Children's (Laboratory) School. My research is currently supported by the Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood and the Spencer Foundation. In the past, I have been supported by the National Science Foundation. (wondering how to pronounce my last name? the A is pronounced as "ah" & the S is pronounced as "sh") |
